Scope of work

Everything that’s
included, written
out in full.

Vague scope is how SEO retainers turn into monthly invoices nobody can evaluate. Here is exactly what each engagement covers, what it doesn’t, and how you’ll know whether it worked.

Search engines have to be able to reach, read and trust the site before anything else matters. I audit crawl and index health, fix what is blocking discovery, and clear the structural problems that quietly cap every other effort.

  • Full crawl audit with issues ranked by traffic impact
  • Index coverage, canonicals, robots and sitemap hygiene
  • Core Web Vitals and page-speed remediation
  • Structured data and schema implementation
  • Log-level crawl budget analysis on large catalogues

Product and category pages behave differently from ordinary content pages, and Gulf storefronts have their own quirks. I build the architecture so every commercial query has exactly one page built to win it.

  • Category and collection architecture mapped to search demand
  • Product page templates that scale across a full catalogue
  • Faceted navigation handled without creating index bloat
  • Variant, duplicate and thin-page consolidation
  • Arabic and English intent handled side by side

Rankings follow pages that answer the query better than the alternatives. I map what people actually search, find where the site has nothing to offer them, and build the pages that close the gap.

  • Keyword and SERP research grounded in real query data
  • Content gap analysis against ranking competitors
  • Title, meta and heading rewrites built around intent
  • Internal linking that compounds the pages already winning
  • Editorial briefs your writers can actually execute

Every claim on this site is a screenshot away from being verified, and your reporting should work the same way. Impressions, clicks, CTR and position, side by side, on a schedule you can plan around.

  • Search Console and GA4 configured and validated properly
  • Before/after reporting windows agreed up front
  • Organic revenue attribution, not just traffic
  • Looker Studio dashboards you can open any day of the week
  • A plain-language read of what moved and why

A standalone audit if you are not ready for an ongoing engagement. You get the same diagnostic I would run on my own accounts, ranked by traffic impact rather than by how easy each item is to fix.

  • Technical, on-page and content review in one document
  • Every issue scored by estimated traffic impact and effort
  • A sequenced roadmap, not an undifferentiated list
  • Handover call to walk your team through it
  • Written so a developer can act on it without translation

I lead SEO teams, so a chunk of the job is making other people effective. If you have in-house marketers or writers, I would rather leave you with a working process than a dependency.

  • SEO process and QA checklists built for your stack
  • Training for content, dev and marketing teams
  • Review cadence and prioritisation frameworks
  • Hiring and briefing support for SEO roles
  • Documentation that outlasts the engagement
Ways to work together

Three shapes
an engagement takes

Which one fits depends on what the audit finds. If a one-off audit is genuinely all you need, I’ll say so rather than selling you a retainer.

  • Full technical, on-page and content crawl
  • Every issue scored by traffic impact and effort

What I don’t do

Every one of these gets asked for, and every one of them is either outside my scope or a bad idea. Worth knowing before you get in touch.

Guaranteed rankings

Nobody controls Google’s ranking systems. Anyone who guarantees position one is either misunderstanding the problem or misrepresenting it. I commit to the work and the reporting.

Bought links and PBNs

Link schemes carry real risk to a store that has revenue attached to it. I won’t put an account you depend on in front of that, whatever short-term gain is on offer.

Bulk AI content dumps

Publishing a thousand thin pages is a fast way to devalue a domain. Content gets written where there’s a real query gap to fill, and it gets edited by someone who knows the market.

Paid search management

I work on organic. Plenty of good people run Google Ads — I’m not one of them, and I’d rather refer you than do it adequately.

Reporting that hides the bad metrics

If a number went the wrong way, it goes in the report with an explanation. You can see that principle applied to the CTR figures on the work page.

Work I’m not the best choice for

The depth here is Gulf-market e-commerce. If your project sits well outside that, I’ll tell you and point you somewhere better rather than take the engagement.

The method

How a project moves

Audit

Full technical and content crawl. Every issue ranked by traffic impact, not by how easy it is to fix.

Week 1–2

Fix

Structural and on-page issues resolved first — the changes search engines have to notice.

Week 2–6

Scale

Content and internal linking expanded around what’s already ranking, to compound the early wins.

Month 2 onward

Report

Search Console and Analytics pulled side by side, before vs. after, on a schedule you can plan around.

Questions I get
before every project

Including the awkward ones about guarantees, timelines and why some case studies show CTR going down.

It depends entirely on what is wrong. Where the blocker is technical — indexation, crawl, a broken canonical chain — movement can show inside a week or two, and there are accounts on this site that did exactly that. Where the site needs new content and authority built from a standing start, three to six months is realistic. I will tell you which situation you are in after the audit, not before it.

Because impressions grew much faster than clicks. When a site starts surfacing for thousands of additional queries, many of them are lower-intent, so the percentage of impressions that convert to clicks falls even though total clicks rise. In every case here where CTR fell, both clicks and average position improved. I show it rather than hiding it, because a report that only shows flattering metrics is not a report.

Yes. Those two come up most in the Saudi and Gulf market so they are where the deepest platform-specific knowledge is, but the work translates to Shopify, Magento and custom builds. The technical principles do not change with the CMS — only the implementation details do.

Yes. Arabic and English search intent behave differently for the same product, and treating one as a translation of the other is a common and expensive mistake in this market. I research and structure both.

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls Google’s ranking systems. What I commit to is the work, the reporting cadence, and an honest read of what moved. The numbers on this site are the track record that offer stands on.

Most of the accounts are under NDA. The verticals, the windows and the numbers are exactly as they appear in Search Console and Analytics; only the brand names are withheld. On a call I can walk you through the live dashboards for accounts where the client has agreed to it.

Read access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics, and access to the site or a staging environment. That is enough for the audit. Implementation is faster if I can work directly with whoever owns the code, but I can also hand over specifications for your team to apply.

Occasionally, where the problem is a good fit. But the depth here is in e-commerce and specifically in Gulf-market storefronts, and I would rather point you to someone better suited than take work I am not the strongest choice for.

Not sure which
one you need?

Send the domain over and I’ll tell you. If the answer is “nothing yet”, you’ll get that too — it costs you one email to find out.
