How to judge
an SEO case study

Impressions without clicks means nothing

Impressions are the easiest metric to inflate — you can rank for thousands of queries nobody searches. Always check whether clicks moved with them. On every account here, they did.

A falling CTR isn’t automatically bad

When impressions triple, CTR almost always dips: you’re now visible for far more queries, including lower-intent ones. What matters is whether total clicks and average position improved.

The window has to be stated

“Traffic up 300%” is meaningless without a timeframe and a baseline. Every card here names its reporting window, and the before figure is always shown next to the after.
